Medics Plus Health Clinics (“we,” “our,” “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. When you register as a new patient, request an appointment, or contact us through our website, we collect the details you choose to provide: your name, phone number, email address, the general reason for your visit, and, if you provide it, your Ontario health card (OHIP) number. Please do not include detailed medical information in web forms. We will collect any health details we need directly and securely when we follow up with you.
We use the information you submit only to respond to your request, set up your patient registration, prepare your patient file, and communicate with you about appointments and clinic updates you have asked for. We do not sell your information, and we never share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
If you share your health card number with us, it is used solely to prepare your patient record and verify OHIP coverage. It is transmitted over an encrypted connection, is accessible only to authorized clinic staff, and is never used for any other purpose. Providing it through our website is optional; you may also provide it by phone or in person if you prefer.
By providing your phone number or email address, you consent to receive communications from Medics Plus Health Clinics about your request, your registration, and your appointments. Message frequency will vary with your care. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or ask us to stop contacting you by emailing info@medicsplus.ca. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.
Our website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) for all form submissions. Access to submitted information is limited to clinic staff who need it to respond to you. We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law and applicable health-records regulations.
Our website uses only the technical cookies needed for the site to function. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell visitor data.
You may ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, or withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time. Withdrawing consent will not affect your ability to receive care.
